Getting to Rancho Primavera is Easy
From most US cities you can leave home in the morning and arrive in time to enjoy an early dinner. Puerto Vallarta is the most common entry into this part of the central Pacific portion of Mexico. Non-stop flights are available from most major U.S. airports and one-stop connections are available from most major European cities. Rental cars are easily available and the mostly 2-lane roads are in good condition. Taxis and buses are also available and we can arrange to pick you up in the village of El Tuito, just 3 km from Rancho Primavera.
Driving Directions to Rancho Primavera
From Puerto Vallarta, take Highway 200 south about 45 km (about 1 Hour) until you reach the town of El Tuito . You will see a little sign that says El Tuito, stay on the highway until you see the Pemex gas station and OXXO convenience store on your left.
Take that first road to the right and continue straight along the cobbled street (Pablo Rios) through El Tuito, past the church and back out of town. About 3 kilometers past town you will see a white sign on the right that says “Rancho Primavera”. Take that little dirt road down and onto the ranch. It crosses a shallow creek which is easy enough for most vehicles. Occasionally from June through October heavy down pours can make the creek temporarily impassable.
